Click Offer: Setup Guide
This guide explains how to correctly set up your MarketCall affiliate offer, configure tracking links with GCLID, and integrate Google Ads conversion tracking for offer clicks and thank-you page events.
1. Apply for the Affiliate Offer
Visit the MarketCall offer pages:
- Offer for Search Ads: https://www.marketcall.com/v2/affiliate/offers/11929
- Offer for YouTube Ads: https://www.marketcall.com/v2/affiliate/offers/12089
Steps:
- Apply for the offer.
- Wait for approval.
- Once approved, copy your unique affiliate tracking link from MarketCall.
2. Configure Your Tracking Link

Replace the default tracking URL with your approved MarketCall tracking link in the index.php file:
$TRACKING_URL = 'https://trkmcl.com/7gnxrozn2m/p6ny1qx1n0';
Append the GCLID Parameter
To ensure proper Google Ads attribution, always append the gclid parameter when redirecting traffic:
?gclid={gclid}
Example:
https://your-tracking-link.com/?gclid={gclid}
This allows Google Ads to accurately match clicks with conversions.
3. Google Ads Pixel Configuration
Set your Google Ads Conversion ID in the configuration section of index.php:
$GOOGLE_PIXEL_ID = 'AW-123456789';
Replace this with your actual Google Ads conversion ID.
4. Offer Click Tracking
This event tracks when a user clicks on an insurance offer button.
Configuration (index.php)
$GOOGLE_ADS_LABEL_OFFER_CLICK = 'ABC123';
$CUSTOM_OFFER_CLICK_EVENT = 'offer_click';
- Google Ads Label: Used for conversion tracking in Google Ads
- Custom Event Name: Used for analytics or debugging
Apply this event to CTA buttons such as “View Rates” or “Check Prices.”
5. Thank You Page Conversion Tracking
This event fires when a user successfully reaches the thank-you page.
Configuration
$GOOGLE_ADS_LABEL_THANK_YOU = 'DEF456';
$CUSTOM_THANK_YOU_EVENT = 'thank_you_page_view';
- Tracks completed user actions
- Suitable for primary conversion goals in Google Ads
- Helps optimize campaigns for quality leads or calls
6. Best Practices
- Always pass
gclidfrom the landing page to the tracking URL - Verify conversions inside Google Ads before scaling traffic
- Keep offer-click and thank-you events separate
- Test events using Google Tag Assistant or browser developer tools
